Hello and Welcome

 My name is John Amerkhanian and I work on primarily sys-admin-y and network-engineer-y type things (IT stuff for those of you outside that world). I live out near the bay and work at Lawrence Berkeley Lab. Sometimes I garden, sometimes I travel, but most of all I try to have a good time and help folks around me out when I can. 

Here you will hopefully soon find some guides that will help you do some pretty interesting IT sorta things. I also might dust off my bachelor's in Political Science and write some nonsense related to that or talk about sports because... I like sports.
